7-Day Smartphone Detox

We’re the very first people to joke about being addicted to smartphones, but being too obsessed is unproductive and definitely unhealthy. When you can’t go 20 minutes without checking your phone or you sleep with it under your pillow, it’s time for an intervention. Here’s a weekly challenge about how you can detach yourself from your devices.

Monday

Unfollow people how aren’t your real friends, unsubscribe from unwanted email lists and delete apps you don’t use.

Tuesday

Turn off push notifications

Wednesday 

Resist the urge to look at your phone first thing in the morning

Thursday

Set up a charging station outside your bedroom and don’t look at your phone an hour before bed

Friday 

Go out to dinner and leave your phone at home (or if that’s way too difficult, leave it in your bag)

Saturday 

Spend the day not looking at or posting to social media

Sunday 

Turn off your smartphone for the entire day!
